JEDDAH – The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) recently organized its Fifth Makkah Recruitment Forum under the theme “My Job, My Safety”, as part of its vision that comprehensive development can best be achieved through human development. Held at the College of Tourism and Hospitality, the event offered around 4,250 job opportunities to Saudi nationals across Makkah region, provided by 69 participating companies from various segments, including tourism and the private sector which plays a major part in the development process. Elaf Group of Companies for Travel, Tourism and Hotels was one of the participants. Ziyad Bin Mahfouz, President, Elaf Group of Companies, said: “We are committed to providing job opportunities to nationals through our current and upcoming projects. The tourism-related training sessions and courses have significantly contributed to building a young pool of Saudi personnel with the required potential and ability to work in the field.” Bin Mahfouz thanked the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation for their gesture of presenting a Certificate of Appreciation to Elaf Group, in recognition of its effective participation in the Fifth Recruitment Forum. He lauded TVTC's extensive training and employment efforts under a partnership-building strategy that aims to promote employment-related training across the private sector.
