RIYADH – The King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue (KACND) is planning to open the first Academy of Training and Public Opinion Survey next Saturday, KACND Secretary-General Faisal Bin Muammar told the Saudi Press Agency Tuesday. The academy will work to spread the culture of dialogue at the national and regional levels, Bin Muammar said. This will be achieved through providing training to men and women to be certified trainers in the field of dialogue and experts on conducting public opinion surveys that help identify the trends and interests of society, he noted. The academy will focus on two important pillars: training and public opinion surveys. The former consists of courses that teach the skills of engaging in social, educational, and civilized dialogue. The latter provides an environment that is conducive to facilitating communication and understanding between decision-makers in different sectors and society in general. – SG
