In the presence of a number of senior officials in the Ministry of Education and a number of thinkers and academics, Deputy Minister of Education, Faisal bin Abdulrahman bin Muammar, who is also Secretary General of King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue (KACND), has received at the Head Office of KACND, a number of members of U.S. Congress headed by the Chairwoman of the Foreign Appropriations Committee, Nita Lowey, currently visiting the Kingdom. At the outset of the meeting, bin Muammar welcomed the members of U.S. Congress delegation, expressing happiness on their visiting the Center and briefed them on the goals, aspirations and strategy of the facility. For their part, members of the U.S. Congress delegation hailed the Center's efforts to promote dialogue among community groups and its role in the overall reform.
