Kraft Cream Cheese Original from Mondelez International (erstwhile Kraft Foods in the region) was honored to present the “Original Treasures of Arabia” book to the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Culture and Information as a tribute to the region at a presentation ceremony held at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh recently. Present at the ceremony were Dr. Maha Khayat from Saudi Arabia Ministry of Culture, Saudi Arabia's renowned photographer and esteemed judge for the campaign Ms. Lamia Al Rumaih, Saudi Arabia's winner for the campaign Ms. Nusaiba Khalil, Ms. Maya Nakad from Mondel?z International and guests. The Original Treasure of Arabia region wide collectible book is the result of the “Original Treasures of Arabia campaign” that was launched to celebrate the brand's long standing existence and pay a tribute to the region where the brand has existed and has been a favorite for over five decades. The book has been compiled by Ms. Al Rumaih, which includes a number of her spectacular photographs that showcase the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the region in a very artistic and poetic way. The campaign's winning photos by Ms. Nasibah Khalil E. Al Khan, Mr. Mario Bejagan Cardenas and Ms. Chithra Parameswaran Gopinathan Unni are also included in the opening section of this collectible book as their personal memory of the region. The original Treasure of Arabia campaign was launched under the patronage of the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Culture and Information earlier in June 2012 and invited entries from the residents of the region to capture and share powerful images of the ever-changing face of GCC over time. These visuals were required to depict the Original Treasure of Arabia according to the participants accompanied by a short description capturing the essence of the image. The entries were then judged by Mondel?z International panel in addition to our well-respected judge Lamia Al Rumaih. Vishal Tikku – Managing Director for Mondel?z International in the Middle East, said: “It is a big honor for us to present the Original Treasures of Arabia book to the Saudi Ministry of Culture and Information and are thankful for their patronage throughout our campaign thereby making it more meaningful and a memorable one.” “We will be happy to share and associate with the Ministry in encouraging the youth of Saudi Arabia and the region to contribute in keeping the culture and traditions and heritage alive among the citizens of tomorrow through our participation and support,” he added. — SG
