The Ministry of Culture and Information will hold the first cultural days in the Federal Russia, starting tomorrow in Moscow and in Tatar Stan Cities of Kazan and Bolghar. The main activities will be in held in the Vicinity of Moscow University in the city downtown, said Dr Abu Bakr Baqadir, the Ministry's under secretary for cultural International Relations. The selection of Kazan and Bolghar cities is due to the Islamic history traced back to the 8th century. Kazan city was one of the key cities of Islamic culture and there was the first printing press that issued Islamic books in Arabic Language, Baqadir added. The activities comprise of The Two Holy Mosques , Palm and dates, and local attires from different Saudi regions and fine arts exhibitions. Baqadir said these will include also lectures in Russian presented by Saudi academicians to highlight the economic political and cultural relations between Saudi Arabia and the Federal Russia. The goal of the cultural days is to introduce the cultural activities and contributions of Saudi Arabia to the world.
