Mishal Al-Otaibi Saudi Gazette RIYADH — Tamm e-service, launched by the Traffic Department Sunday, would save 100,000 work hours. These hours would have been wasted if the motorists were physically present at the Traffic General Administration waiting for their transactions to be completed. The e-service would also save six million trips by car to the Traffic General Administration. The service is available to vehicle owners in the Kingdom 24/7. The “Tamm” e-service is environment friendly and aims to support a green environment by saving about SR10 million as the value of paper, ink and other stationery besides the traffic officers devoting their time to providing better services by saving four million minutes of their time that would have been wasted. As per the new service, a driver will now be able to apply for vehicle registration certificate, transfer vehicle ownership, authorize another driver to drive his vehicle, enquire about traffic tickets, access information about driver's license without having to go to the Traffic Administration. — SG/SPA
