MANILA — Actress Angelica Panganiban, who started as a child star in Philippine movies, couldn't seem to believe that she has been in show business for more than 20 years. Panganiban, now 26, earned her first shot in the entertainment industry as a child star in kiddie gag show “Ang TV” and made her breakthrough in “Sarah...Ang Munting Princesa (Sarah...The Little Princess” playing the role of Becky. “Whatever I have achieved, specially in my career, I cannot believe that I would go this far — that I have been here for 20 years,” said Panganiban, who is both a dramatic actress and a comedienne. “Until now, the public still supports me.” “It seems that as time passes by, I am getting more public support,” she told ABS-CBN television station in an interview at the sidelines of a thanksgiving party for the romance-drama film “One More Try”. Panganiban topbilled in the movie, which is among the film entries in the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival, along with Dingdong Dantes, Angel Locsin and Zanjoe Marudo.
