Red Sea Mall welcomes volunteers in alliance with Jeddah Shopping Festival
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 10 - 01 - 2013

In alliance with the shopping festival “Haya Jeddah” launched Wednesday, the Red Sea Mall shopping center has recently opened its door to hire a large number of Saudi youth volunteers. The appointed volunteers are expected to handle tasks like supervising and following up the public events, increasing marketing awareness and answering all the queries asked by the center's visitor.
The volunteers will gain immense experience by participating in the festival – an advantage for the volunteers to harness their energy and vitality in a positive way which will be of great benefit to them.
Mohammed Alawi, CEO of Red Sea Mall, said “we ensure that Saudi youth knows there is always a path to become successful and we act as a great support in motivating the youth. We encourage them by identifying their potential skills, and assist them in channeling their focus and energies.”
He further said “as a major destination for shopping and entertainment in Jeddah, this motivates us to adopt many of the events, and by hosting national shopping festivals, we aim to create a safe environment for the families, focusing on shopping and entertainment.”
The mall has been working on all the elements to make “Haya Jeddah” as fruitful as possible. As this festival is dedicated to families, a lot of emphasis is given to appointing a large number of security guards, who will have a larger role in the operations, control and regulation of providing security. They will ensure to keep the environment safe and healthy. Red Sea Mall is the Diamond sponsor for “Haya Jeddah” and will provide the visitors with a wide range of offers, coupons and variety of contests giving the visitors a chance to win valuable prizes. It will be a great opportunity for the families to enjoy the atmosphere with a wonderful shopping experience. Each group will have a different activity ranging to their age groups .Men, women, old or young all will be seen participating in one activity or the other.
One of the activities organized by “Haya Jeddah” is a puzzle activity which focuses on talent, skill and high concentration. Modern technology games have also been added for the kids group. A game called jungle/forest has been included to the list. Jungle is an educational game that focuses on decorative trees, stones etc. which gives a sense of knowledge and building awareness among the kids.
A unique feature has been added which is called the “alien shopping”. Red Sea Mall is also working on hosting an “Art Gallery” – a great opportunity for the youth to showcase their skills and talent. It will hold unique arts and creative sculptures, adding an interesting touch to the festival. – SG
