JEDDAH — “There should be a paradigm shift in one's thinking,” said Ms. Uzma Raheem to the attendees of the recently held ladies night by International Trend Setters and Events Management Group.
Women from various nationalities enjoyed a fabulous cultural evening organized by the group headed by Amrina Qaisar and Shabeena Aslam.
Two well-known personalities from Jeddah were felicitated for their work in their respective fields. The guests of honor were Mrs. Nouf M. Almruaa, the President and Founder of Naturopathy Medicine, and Uzma Raheem, the CEO and founder of “HOPE” — center for special needs.
In her address Raheem said: ”You attract what you seek, you look for good you get good, you have negative thoughts, you attract negative energy and this is a cycle that you perpetuate.”
“So make sure you do not get trapped in such a circle. Revolution, transformation, positive metamorphosis all are within a person's grasp, you only have to search within to find the hidden gems,“ she added.
The program featured a performance by Philippines' Millet, who delivered some foot-tapping numbers, which set the mood for the night. Rehna Saleem delivered some famous Hindi songs and set the crowd on fire while Pakistani singer Anum also caught the eye with her songs. Saleem also sang some famous Arabic numbers adding to the cultural spectrum of the night.
Aslam too won the hearts of the audience with her songs. Various young and energetic performances were also part of the evening, with groups performing Latin/Salsa, Hip Hop, cultural, traditional, classical, item dances, contemporary and Egyptian dances.
Qaisar said, “I am delighted to see so many ladies, and am happy that this evening is uniting different cultures under one roof and this journey will go on.”
“I am very happy to be connected with different communities, cultural traditions and their ways. I hope I could really set up trends for all the ladies in the Kingdom,” she added.
A short documentary on “HOPE center for special needs” was also screened.
There was a Bridal Fashion Show, showcasing various attires worn by brides and grooms of different cultures and countries. Makeup used for all participants was provided by INGLOT and hairstyle done by Shabeena Saloon.
Aslam, in her vote of thanks said, “I was very delighted to get an opportunity to unite multicultural talents under one roof. My heartfelt thanks to all, especially the dedicated team who contributed to make this event a success.”
Amrina Jewels, Golds Gym, Marriot, Intercontinental, Sheraton, Bahama, Manar Opticals Talent Promotion presented gifts and gift vouchers from raffle draws.
The sponsors of the evening were Inglot (leaders in colors), Wig-O-Mania, Al Abeer Medical Group, Talent Promotion, Air Cairo, Amrina Jewels, Shabeena Saloon, Indomie, Munch, InterContinental, Bahama, I Bake Cake.
