JAZAN — Dogs led a citizen to an infant abandoned in a remote area near the Al-Darb-Rijal Alma'a road. The citizen was on a night picnic with his family. Barking dogs near them caused his children to panic. He threw stones at the dogs and they fled. The man then heard crying and searched for the source. He was surprised to find an infant abandoned in a bad condition. The man carried the baby to his wife, who fed him some milk and water. He took the infant to Al-Darb hospital were staff examined him and provided him with nourishment and medicine. Police were notified and took the citizen's statement. The case was referred to Al-Darb police for further investigations.
