JAZAN – An undercover officer from Al-Darb police station in northern Jazan region has found the body of a 30-year-old Yemeni man who had been reported missing by his mother several days ago. The police found out the victim had fought with one of his friends on the day he went missing. An undercover detective was assigned to track down the friend. After a few days the officer collected information indicating the suspect had left for a neighboring country immediately after his friend disappeared. He was arrested on his return to the Kingdom. During questioning, he admitted that he had hired some hit men to kill his friend following their fight. After carrying out the task, the hit men threw the victim's body in a well in a remote valley. He led the officers to the assassins, who in turn guided them to the body. DNA tests revealed it was the missing man. — SG
