JEDDAH — Police arrested two Ethiopian nationals suspected in a series of burglaries in the city. The police had received reports of many vehicle burglaries and mobile phone and purse snatching incidents. Jeddah police chief Ali Al-Ghamdi instructed to form a search and investigation team. The team identified all the reported burglaries, and the number of the culprits involved in these burglaries. Details of burglaries locations and times were gathered. A number of police officers monitored the locations where repeated burglaries have occurred. Surveillance for a number of days resulted in locating two individuals who were suspiciously moving around. The two culprits tried to steal a computer from a vehicle, using a glass cutting instrument. They were arrested, and a number of stolen goods were confiscated.
