Al-KHOBAR — A man died and his wife and three children were seriously injured in a fire that broke out in their apartment in Al-Thuqbah neighborhood in Al-Khobar. Civil Defense firefighters rushed to the scene of the fire and were able to contain it before it spread to neighboring homes. Media spokesman for the Eastern Province Civil Defense, Ali Al-Qahtani, said the fire broke out in an apartment located in a two-story building. The injured mother and her three children were taken to King Fahd University Hospital and the father's body was taken to the morgue. Officials have not yet determined the cause of the fire.
