TABUK — Police here have detained three Arab youths accused of attacking a secondary school teacher. They even threatened him with posting video clips of the attack on the internet. The teacher said that a parent called to request his son's absenteeism report, and that he would contact him later to pay him for the private lessons the teacher was giving his son. The student then called the teacher and set up a meeting on Dhiba Road that night. The teacher was surprised at the meeting spot when four cars surrounded his car, and 10 people, including the student, began attacking him. They stole his wallet and mobile phone, while recording the assault on video. Some passersby intervened and took the teacher to hospital, while contacting the police. The teacher was admitted to King Fahd Hospital where he underwent a knee operation. The assailants have been detained, and were referred to the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution.
