Maher Abbas Saudi Gazette RIYADH — Egyptian diplomatic missions in the Kingdom will start receiving community members to vote in a referendum on the country's new constitution following the revolution that ousted strongman Hosni Mubarak from power. For three days beginning Saturday Dec. 8, Egyptian nationals will be able to vote at the embassy in Riyadh or the Consulate General in Jeddah. Voting will start 8 a.m. and end at 8 p.m. Postal votes will also be received during this time. Egyptian Ambassador Afifi Abdulwahab said voting forms will be available on the High Voting Committee website from midnight Friday for all Egyptians who registered to vote in the last elections. New voters will not be able to obtain the forms, however. The ambassador said envelopes should not contain more than one postal vote. Only envelopes carrying a postal stamp will be accepted. There are 261,924 Egyptian residents in the Kingdom registered on the High Voting Committee's database.
