Egyptian embassy in Riyadh and its consulate general in Jeddah completed preparations for the first round of the presidential election for Egyptians abroad which will start on Friday. Voters will be received by the Embassy in Riyadh and the Consulate General in Jeddah or the ballot envelopes will be sent through the mail. In a statement issued here today, the embassy explained that it will continue to receive voters and receive envelopes during the period from May 11 to 17 from 8 am to 8 pm (local time). Egyptians in Saudi Arabia have completed registering on the site designated for that purpose. The number of those who registered reached 261,024 of a total of 586,914 Egyptians abroad who have registered. Egyptians in the Kingdom rank first in the number of Egyptian voters abroad who are registered in the database of the presidential election.
