ABHA — A team from the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Hai'a) raided a restaurant here that was being used as a front for illegal activities. Awad Al-Asmari, Hai'a spokesman in Asir, said the commission acted on a tip-off that the workers had been using the restaurant to distribute alcohol. The restaurant was placed under surveillance for some time before the team raided it and caught the workers peddling the contraband. On searching the restaurant premises, 15 barrels of alcohol were found with 35 bottles ready for distribution. All workers were arrested.
