LONDON — Frankie Dettori's lawyer says the Italian jockey is under investigation for a positive drug test at Longchamp in Paris. Christopher Stewart-Moore said: “As a consequence of a positive test” on Sept. 16, Dettori will face an inquiry of the France Galop horse racing authority next week. Dettori had four rides at Longchamp on Sept. 16, a day of trials for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe meeting the following month. The British-based jockey has won more than 500 group races in his career. Last month, Dettori parted with the Godolphin stable after an 18-year association. — Reuters
