Hanadi Al-Abdullah Saudi Gazette DAMMAM – The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Dammam arrested a gang of three men – one Saudi and two Arab nationals, said Lt. Col. Ziyad Al-Reqaiti, spokesman for the Eastern Province police. Al-Reqaiti said the three men were arrested after the Dhahran police station received a report that a house was recently broken into and valuable gold ornaments worth over SR2 million, among other valuables, were stolen. The information was passed to the CID. Maj. Gen. Ghurmallah Al-Zahrani, Director of the Eastern Province police, formed a working team of specialists to investigate, collect information and pass it to a joint CID database for the Eastern Province and other regions. The information Dammam CID collected narrowed down suspicions to three people who were seeking buyers for ornaments. The suspects were located and arrested at dawn Monday. The stolen jewelry were found in their possession.
