The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Yanbu arrested a gang of seven Bangladeshis alleged to have broken into houses, villas and offices stealing up to SR3 million in money and jewelry, in four cities. CID officials set up simultaneous sting operations in the four cities and arrested the men who worked as ironsmiths, carpenters and in aluminum works in addition to their alleged thefts. Security officials were able to retrieve up to one kilogram of the stolen jewelry. One of the gangsters was arrested in Riyadh, two in Jeddah, one in Yanbu and two in the Eastern Province. Security officials said the men were planning to carry out a large-scale burglary in the Eastern Province. – Okaz __
