Maher Abbas Saudi GazetteCAIRO – Egyptian authorities arrested four Syrians and a Palestinian while trying to board flights using forged travel documents at Cairo International Airport Saturday morning. The Syrians were arrested as they were checking in on a Qatar Airways flight to Doha. While scrutinizing their documents, immigration officers grew suspicious that Greek stamps on their passports were forged. The airport authorities started an investigation, which confirmed the suspicions. The Palestinian arrived in Cairo on board an EgyptAir flight from Damascus and was heading to Paris. He was holding a forged European Union visa. The authorities took measures to send him back to Syria.
