Khalid Al-Blahdi Okaz/Saudi Gazette DAMMAM — Riyadh police were successful in arresting three men in connection with the shooting death of a spectator during a drag race in Al-Owaired, Dammam. Eastern Province police spokesman Ziyad Al-Reghati said officers from the Eastern Province and Riyadh police worked together to track down the suspects after the victim died during a youth gathering in Al-Owaired. The suspects are now being questioned. Meanwhile, Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd, Emir of the Eastern Province, has ordered a motor racing circuit equipped with advanced facilities and safety measures to be built so young Saudi racers can enjoy their hobby without endangering lives. Heading the Provincial Council, the prince also ordered the establishment of a committee composed of officials from the municipality and the council's tourism committee to allocate sites for swimming facilities at many cities in the province, including Dammam, Al-Khobar, Ras Tanurah, Jubail, Khafji, Qatif and Oghair.
