JEDDAH – Mohamed Yousuf Naghi, owner of Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors, participated last week in high level discussions with the vice chairman of Hyundai Motor Company, Euisun Chung, at a special conference of Hyundai's Middle East retail network held in Dubai. During the meeting, Chung praised the contribution of Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors to Hyundai's phenomenal growth. The delegation then moved on to Hyundai's Deira showroom, where the vice chairman toured the facilities and displays, including the company's range of premium cars, the Centennial and Genesis. After the meeting, Naghi said “Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors is proud to be Hyundai's representative in Saudi Arabia (Jeddah). Euisun Chung 's visit shows the importance of the car market in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East to Hyundai, as well as the confidence they have in us as a distributor. In turn, we look forward to continue working to enhance our service for our customers, and consequently to contribute to Hyundai's future success.” Demonstrating the significance of the Middle East to the fast-growing Korean manufacturer, Chung's visit was organized to allow the vice chairman to meet with distributors and to discuss Hyundai's recent performance in the region's car market. He thanked the distributors for their support and dedication in making the company one of the world's leading car manufacturers. The meeting also allowed the parties to discuss future strategies for ensuring ongoing, mutually beneficial partnerships between the distributors and Hyundai. Tom Lee, Head of Hyundai Middle East's Regional Headquarters, said: “We have enjoyed a strong, positive relationship with Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors and other distributors, which has played a key role in Hyundai's success story in the Middle East. Their ongoing commitment and dedication to Hyundai and its customers will be integral to the brand's plans for this important market in the coming years.” In 2009, Euisun Chung became the Vice Chairman of Hyundai Motors. He is the only son of the Chairman of Hyundai Motor Company, Mongkoo Chung, who was recently named one of the most influential 50 businessmen by Bloomberg. – SG
