AL-HURAIDAH – Asir police have foiled an attempt to smuggle 12,000 Captagon pills and 14 hashish packets into the Kingdom. The seized pills were found inside women's purses while the hashish was hidden in the hood of a car. The smuggler's suspicious behavior gave him away to the police. Meanwhile, a Saudi citizen was executed in the Asir province Thursday for smuggling and selling hashish, according to the Interior Ministry. Abdullah Ali Al-Wada'ee was caught red-handed by anti-drug officers. A court convicted him of drug-related offenses.
