All set for Haj

Some 25,700 Civil Defense personnel with 19 helicopters have been deployed for this year's Haj, said Lt. Gen. Saad Abdullah Al-Twaijri, Director General of Civil Defense. He expressed thanks to Prince Ahmad Bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Haj Higher Committee, for approving the general plan for Civil Defense to deal with emergencies during this year's Haj season. Lt. Gen. Al-Twaijri said the general plan for Civil Defense aims at taking all preventive measures to protect pilgrims and citizens, provide them safety from floods and ensure speedy intervention in case of emergencies. — SPA
