JEDDAH – The Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) will host on Saturday a press conference to discuss the Fifth Young Businessmen Exhibition. During the conference a committee of young businessmen will talk about the event, which will be held on Monday at Al-Harithy Center for Forums and Exhibitions under the auspices of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Emir of Makkah Region. Over 300 young men and women will participate in the four-day exhibition. The National Commercial Bank will sign an agreement with Saleh Kamil, JCCI chairman, to support small business projects. Muhammad Suwaileh, chairman of the committee of young businessmen, said the exhibition focuses on ways to help companies grow their business. The committee was able to provide SR10 million worth of funding for projects run by young businessmen. This amount will help many projects grow and create job opportunities for unemployed youth, he added. The committee works hard to serve young men and women and help them develop their businesses through a clear-cut vision, he pointed out. JCCI supports the private sector and provides training courses for employees. It also conducts investment studies on small and medium enterprises. Muhammad Makki, director of the exhibition, said this event will provide ambitious young businessmen and businesswomen with opportunities to implement their projects. Well-known businessmen and ministers will meet with young men and women and provide them with insights about starting and running small businesses, he noted. — SG
