JEDDAH: The 3rd Youth Business Fair, under the umbrella of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI), will be held at the Jeddah International Exhibition and Events Center on Madina road from Oct. 18 to Oct. 22. The event is being held under the patronage of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Emir of Makkah region, and Prince Meshal Bin Majed, the governor of Jeddah. More than 300 young men and women are expected to participate in the fair. The event aims to educate and inform young businesspeople about marketing, finance, communication and launching their own products, said Ayman Tariq, chairman of the JCCI Committee of Young Businessmen. A JCCI media official said he hoped young people will be encouraged to start their own firms. Those attending the event include Sheikh Saleh Bin Abdullah Kamel, president of the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry, chamber officials, ministers and those interested in economic affairs and investment, he said.
