DAMMAM — The Dammam General Court is likely to issue its verdict in the case of the death of Mishari, an infant who was allegedly murdered by an Indonesian housemaid by adding poison in his milk bottle. The housemaid appeared before the court and her statements were recorded through an interpreter. The court requested another interpreter to authenticate the one done by the first interpreter. The housemaid admitted to the judge her ghastly deed. The judge also reviewed three medical reports issued by different hospitals which clearly indicated that Mishari was poisoned, local media reports said. Previously the housemaid said she had confessed under duress but later admitted to the court that she confessed of her own accord and was guilty of the crime. Mishari died three years ago when the housemaid allegedly placed poison in the infant's feeding bottle. The infant developed severe cardiac disorder and diarrhea and died shortly afterwards.
