RIYADH — A District Court judge here sentenced two Syrian brothers to a total of six years in prison for turning their house to a brothel. The elder brother was sentenced to four years in jail and 300 lashes, to be administered periodically, while the younger one was given a two-year jail sentence and 200 lashes. The judge also ordered their deportation after they serve their terms in prison. The two brothers earned a huge amount of money after turning their house into a brothel and allowing Syrian men and women to get married using fake marriage contracts. Members of the Commission to Promote Virtue and Prevent Vice were monitoring the operation and caught them red-handed.
