The Court of Cassation has endorsed a verdict passed by the Shariah Court in Jeddah sentencing a sorceress to three years in prison, 1,500 lashes and her deportation upon completing her jail term. It also approved the one-year jail term and 700 lashes for her assistant. The Sudanese sorceress was caught red handed using power gained from evil spirits and black magic. – Okaz __
