Ibrahim Alawi Okaz/Saudi Gazette JEDDAH — Police arrested an African national who was caught trying to steal a car in Al-Safa district of Jeddah. Undercover police were patrolling the neighborhood when they noticed a man walking suspiciously between cars and waiting for drivers to walk away from their vehicles. He was checking the cars before he took a tool from his pocket and tried to open a vehicle. When he noticed the undercover cops he took flight but was caught. He later confessed to police that was trying to steal contents left behind in cars such as wallets and briefcases.
