ABHA — A Saudi was killed and five others seriously injured in a road accident involving two cars in Abha. The cars collided head-on. Teams from the Civil Defense as well as ambulances arrived at the location and managed to free three passengers trapped inside the car. All injured passengers were transferred to the Asir Central Hospital. In Jazan, a Saudi man was killed when his car hit a lamppost on the side of the road. According to police, the man was driving at a high speed when his front tire blew. The driver lost control and crashed on the side of the road. Teams from the Civil Defense used cutting equipment to retrieve the victim's body from the car.
