AL-BAHA — The intervention of Prince Meshari Bin Saud, Emir of Baha, saved the life of Saad Bin Mubarak Bin Brais who was scheduled for execution. Prince Meshari visited the family of the victim, Brais Bin Mubashir Bin Brais Al-Ghamdi, in their house at Al-Aqeq governorate on Sunday, where he was received by the tribal chiefs and dignitaries of the governorate. He met separately with the victim's father and some of the immediate family members for more than an hour and his efforts to gain pardon for Saad yielded positive results. The victim's father agreed to forgive the killer of his son for Allah's sake. Prince Meshari praised the graciousness of the victim's family and prayed to Allah to bestow His mercy upon the soul of the victim and to reward his family for their noble deed. He also lauded the efforts made by the dignitaries and sheikhs of the tribes in Al-Aqeq. The two relatives had a dispute over a piece of land four years ago, which ended in the murder of Brais.
