Police catches tire thief red-handed

AL-SHAQEEQ — Al-Shaqeeq city police in Jazan arrested a thief as he tried to sell stolen goods. He broke into a car repair shop and stole 25 tires, 400 oil cans and 13 car batteries.
After receiving a call from a car shop owner that his shop had been robbed, police set up checkpoints around the place where the theft occurred, said police spokesman Maj. Gen. Abdul Rahman Al-Zahrani.
He said: “We caught the thief while he was trying to sell the stolen goods to another shop."
