A thief rattled four vehicles with a hail of bullets in a drive-by shooting in Al-Aziziyah and Al-Awali districts here on Friday afternoon, police said. Several bullets were fired at the vehicles' windshields and windows while they were parked outside the homes of their owners. The thief stripped them of their inside built-in items and owner's personal belongings, the police said. “The thief first targeted two vehicles in Al-Aziziyah District, and then he moved to Al-Awali District to give two more vehicles the same treatment,” said Maj. Abdulmohsen Al-Maiman, spokesman of the Makkah Police Department. The thief was said to have used two stolen cars in the theft. The police found the two cars that he used in the crime, Al-Maiman added. Fingerprints were lifted and a search campaign for the thief has been launched. – SG __
