Science and Math The TI-Nspire CX handheld. From Texas Instruments comes the TI-Nspire CX and the TI-Nspire CX CAS (Computer Algebra System) that provide support for math courses from Pre-Algebra to Calculus, and science courses such as Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Both handhelds are permitted on the SAT. The TI-Nspire CX handheld is also allowed on the ACT and IB exams. Schoolwork is seamlessly transferred from the handheld in the classroom to a PC or Mac computer at home. Software included with the devices offers lessons to help students more easily visualize concepts and have fun learning math and science by using real-world scenarios.
