INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Fever clinched their eighth straight WNBA playoff berth by beating Chicago Sky 81-64 Saturday, completing their fifth consecutive win. Briann January scored 19 points, while Tamika Catchings and Katie Douglas added 17 each for the Fever, who moved two games behind first-place Connecticut in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile in the Western Conference, Phoenix Mercury notched its first back-to-back wins of the season by downing the San Antonio Silver Stars 94-90. In Saturday's other game, New York Liberty won its first game in four by defeating Washington Mystics 79(equals)73. — AP
