Weapon smuggling bid foiled

JAZAN — A police patrol in Jazan foiled an attempt to smuggle weapons into the Kingdom. The patrol was alerted by the suspicious movements of a vehicle in an isolated mountain area. When the vehicle was stopped and searched, officers found more than 125 guns and several cases of ammunition. The driver was arrested and the weapons seized.
