KATHMANDU — Police in Nepal say a bus has veered off a highway and into a river, killing at least 11 people and injuring 25 more. Police official Chandra Kafle says the driver lost control of the bus while on the way to Kathmandu Tuesday morning. The bus fell 50 meters into the Trishuli River. The accident occurred about 80 km west of Kathmandu on the Prithvi highway, the main route connecting the Nepalese capital with the rest of the country. — AP
