Man arrested for blackmail

MAKKAH – The Makkah branch of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice (Hai'a) busted a young man who tried to blackmail a female professor by threatening to post her daughter's photos online unless she gave him a large amount of cash. The mother called the Hai'a and the young man was arrested by police at a popular mall in Makkah. He had been exchanging phone calls with the girl for some time and had convinced her to send him her photos, which he then used to try and extort money from her mother.
