The Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice arrested an Arab expatriate for blackmailing girls, extorting amounts of money by threatening to disseminate their photos that he obtained through his relationship with them. The man was set up and arrested after a report by one of the girls. Six mobile phone sets with photos and clips in addition to a narcotic substance were found in his possession. In Najran, the Commission and the Prisons Authority have referred another Arab blackmailer, an inmate, who used to blackmail a girl from inside the jail to the Commission for Investigation and Prosecution. Another blackmailer, a Saudi, was arrested in Makkah after a 20-year-old girl reported to the Commission that he was blackmailing her using old photos.
