Jeddah United and Ittihad reach semis

JEDDAH — Jeddah United beat Faisal Park team 46-37 Thursday to book a spot in the Prince Talal Bin Monsour Bin Abdulaziz Basketball Tournament semifinals here.
The night belonged to Jeddah United as it took the lead early in the first period and held on to claim the win by nine points. Ayoub Hasauwi was the player of the game as he went on to score 14 points for Jeddah United.
The second game saw Wehdah outgun Saudi Jr. National Team 57-37. Wehdah's Zaid Abbas was the player of the game with 15 points.
Ittihad, meanwhile, exhausted Time Out Academy with a 62-41 win.
Three of the four spots for the final four are filled.
Ittihad and Jeddah United are on top in their groups and will face each other in Saturday's semifinals. Wehdah will know its rival after the remaining games.
