The dawn of May 28 spread the light of joy and happiness for students, their parents and teachers and of International Indian School, Jubail, when results were released for the CBSE 2012. It was a week full of joy and celebrations for the 233 students of Grade X and 94 students of grade XII, who appeared for the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) in March 2012. It was a joyous occasion for the staff and management because International Indian School, Jeddah continuing the trend of the past several years of excellent results, this year too, produced an overall 100 percent result in the AISSCE. In Grade X, 50 students scored a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 10. In Grade XII, Anadha Nambiar from the Science stream topped scoring 95.8 percent followed by Vijesh Jayan who was placed second with 94.4 percent. In commerce stream, Tasneem Riyaz Lakdawala topped by scoring 94 percent marks, and the other top scorers in descending order were Veena Madhusudan, Saurabh Dewangan, and Sharan Z. Oomen. Commenting on the results Principal Dr. Syed Hameed said: “These results reflect the hard work of students, teachers and parents. Hard work never goes unrewarded. Such wonderful result could never have been possible without the constant support and motivation of the school managing committee”. The chairman and the members of the school managing committee congratulated the students for their remarkable achievements and appreciated the teaching faculties of for the excellent results in the Eastern province. Dr. Ahmad Khan, the Chairman, said “The hard work of students, endeavor of teachers and cooperation of parents has borne fruit.” — SG __
