He also visited Prince Sultan Armed Forces Hospital before returning to Jeddah. — SPA JEDDAH — The Kingdom has exerted significant efforts to fight the menace of terrorism, Prince Khaled Bin Saud, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, said here Saturday. On the eve of the second meeting of the advisory board of the UN Counter-Terrorism Center (UNCCT) here, Prince Khaled said in a statement that the Kingdom enjoys a pioneering position, both regionally and globally, in the fight against terrorism. On behalf of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will open the meeting in presence of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Prince Khaled said. The Kingdom contributed $10 million for the establishment of the UNCCT in New York last year. Its main mission is to support international strategies against terrorism.
