The Arab Peace Initiative Committee held a meeting here on Friday evening. Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the meeting. The meeting was attended by United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. The meeting was presided over by Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani who expressed in his speech his appreciation for the great efforts exerted by Arab Peace Initiative Committee, hoping that the meeting will contribute to pushing forward the peace process in spite of all difficulties surrounding it.
