Deccan Knights, Jawar Al-Jazira post big wins

Deccan Knights crushed Zinda Tilismat by nine wickets, Jawar Al-Jazira, cruised past Ace Travel by eight wickets and Desert Warriors continued their unbeaten run inflicting a 48-run win over Kanoo Travel in the 9th week matches of the Ace League which is sponsored by Ace Travel & Tours and organized by JCA.
Zinda Tilismat batted first and managed 143 runs in its allotted overs with Javed scoring 66 off 49 balls with two sixes and eight fours. He was well supported by Irfan (21) and Noor (21). Inayath (3-13) and Ayaz (2-30) bowled well.
In reply, Deccan Knights knocked off the required runs (144-1) with seven overs to spare. Najeeb led with a quickfire 61 off 19 balls with five sixes and six fours while Sohail scored an unbeaten 55 off 30 balls with five sixes and one four. Athar lent support scoring 22 off 16 balls. Noor took the only wicket to fall.
Jawar Al-Jazeera defeated Ace Travel which was restricted to 127. Wajid was dismissed cheaply but Murtaza remained unbeaten on 62 off 47 deliveries while Sajid (14), Faheem (13) and Naveed (12) gave good support. Adnan (2-26) and Zahid (1-27) pegged it down.
In reply, Jawar Al-Jazira raced home to 128-2 with six overs to spare. Amir Sajjad scored an unbeaten 45 off 14 balls with four sixes and four boundaries. Sajid chipped in with a useful 30 and Asim 20 off just seven balls including two sixes. Faheem and Mujahed took one wicket each but could not prevent Jawar Al-Jazira from winning comfortably.
Desert Warriors stunned Kanoo Travel by 48 runs. Batting first, the Warriors piled up an impressive total of 200. Omar blasted 51 off 22 balls with five sixes and four boundaries. Aleem hit 84 off 38 balls with six sixes and four fours. Quddus made 20 and Kumar 20 not out. Zahid took 2-44 while Akbar and Imran took one wicket each. In reply, Kanoo Travel started well as Haroon hit 27, Asghar 22 and Imran 18.
But others did not contribute and the team folded up for 152. A. Quddus ran through its batting with figures of 4-26. Shah Jahan scalped 2-26. __
