Bat dominates ball in Ace Travel League

Jazira crushed Desert Warrior by 149 runs, Deccan Knights trounced Kanoo by 9 wickets and Ace Travel flew past Kanoo Travel by 8 wickets in the 3rd week matches of the Ace Travel League which is sponsored by Ace Travel & Tours and organized by JCA .
Jawar Al-Jazira batted first and piled up a mammoth 295-3. Amer Sajjad scored a scintillating 157 off only 58 balls with 15 fours and 11 sixes.
He was given able support by Asim 56 and Shabbir 46 not out (15 balls). The partnership between Amir Sajjad and Asim yielded 177 runs. Ahmad (2-27) and A. Quddus (1-67) toiled hard with the ball.
In reply Desert Warrior was bundled out for 146 with only Razi scoring 77 and A. Quddus 23. Tariq, Zahid, Asim and Shabbir took 2 wickets each.
Kanoo put up an imposing 200-2 with making Sami 74 not out and Najam 42 not out. Tabrez (19) and Rashid (38) chipped in with useful contributions. Rabbani and Athar took one wicket each.
In reply, Deccan Knight went on a rampage and reached the target for the loss of only one wicket. Sohail hit 101 off 49 balls. Athar scored an unbeaten 51off 20 balls. The two put on 144 runs for the opening wicket. Later Najeeb scored an unbeaten 28. Najam got the only wicket that fell.
Kanoo Travel batted first and scored 185-6 through Mazhar 31, Pervez Khan 60 (35 balls), Ibrahim 31 and Amir 23 n.o. Naveed bowled a tight length to take 4-49.
In reply, Ace Travel raced to 186-2 with Wajid (51) and Ayaz 95 (51 balls) doing bulk of the scoring. Ayaz was unlucky to miss a century by 5 runs. The two put on 166 for the second wicket. Later Naveed scored an unbeaten 17 to seal the win. Akbar took 2 for 37 runs.
