Mango festival starts tomorrow in Jizan

Prince Mohammad Bin Nasser, Emir of Jizan region, will launch here Wednesday the 8th festival for mangoes, tropical fruits, cereals, and honey.
The Emir will also patronize the opening of Al-Kaadi Commercial Mall in Jizan city.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Suwaid, an official of Najran Governorate and chairman of the festival, said several private companies, government agencies, and mango-growers in the region will participate in the festival.
He said festivals such as this demonstrate the agricultural wealth of the region as well as its economic and tourism potential.
Al-Suwaid said that mangoes produced in the region will be marketed in the malls and markets of Riyadh, Madinah, Jeddah, Dammam, Tabuk and Abha.
