Prince Mohammad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jazan Region will launch here on Wednesday the 8th Festival of Mango, tropical fruits, cereals, honey, for the current fiscal year 1433 AH. The Governor will also patronize the opening of Al-Kaadi Commercial Mall in Jazan city. Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammad Al-Suwaid, the Under Secretary of Najran Governorate and Chairman of The Higher Committee For the Festival said a large number of delegates of government agencies and private companies as well as Mango-growers in the region will participate in the Festival. He highlighted the importance of the Mango Festival, and other similar Festivals in the region and said they demonstrate the agricultural wealth of the region as well as its economic and tourism potentials. He also disclosed that this year will see marketing of mangoes produced in the region in the Malls and Markets of Riyadh, Madinah, Jeddah, Dammam, Dhahran, Tabuk and Abha.
