Fateh secured an important win against Ittifaq 2-1 in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup of Champions at Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam. Ittifaq scored first in the 14th minute through Hamad Al-Hamad off a free kick. Elton Jose leveled the game in the 45th minute when he blasted from inside the penalty box ending the first half 1-1. Elton Jose struck again in the 56th minute to wrest the lead off a long shot. Ittifaq attempts to level the game failed. Ittifaq will play the second leg match next Tuesday. Meanwhile, Nasr and Shabab will clash in the second leg match at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh Sunday. Nasr holds two options – a victory or a draw. Nasr earned an important win against Shabab in the first leg, 2-1, last week. __
